Our diaper cakes are a unique and practical gift made of high-quality, brand name disposable diapers in the shape of a layer cake. It is sure to impress anyone who sees it! The cake is covered and filled with many different surprises for babies, such as receiving blankets, hooded towels, bibs, booties, hats, and many other baby items. A diaper cake is made of many of the things a new parent needs when getting started. Diaper cakes are perfect for a first-time mom, but also great for second and third time parents, too! What could be more practical for a new baby than diapers?
A diaper cake makes a beautiful centrepiece if you are hosting a shower for a special mom-to-be. It can even double as the centrepiece and the gift! A diaper cake is a very practical gift to bring to the hospital; surely much more appreciated and useful than the usual flowers or balloons!

Will my cake look exactly like the one in the picture on your website?
Each and every cake created by ABC Gift Boutique is individual and unique. We cannot duplicate the photo identically every time, but your cake will be as close as possible to the photo (if you choose). However, we are also able to create one-of-a-kind cakes, if this is your preference. Because your cake is not put together until you order it, certain items may not be available. Any replacements will be items of equal or greater value, and we will always stay within the overall theme of the cake you chose. Most people appreciate this aspect of the cakes because it lets you know that these cakes are not mass produced and each one is a unique piece of art.

I don’t see the theme I want on your website. Can I order a custom design?
Absolutely! Just call or e-mail us and we will work with you to design the cake you envision. We are able to customize according to size, price, color, theme, character, animal, and more. Please keep in mind that custom cakes may cost more if we do not have items for a particular theme in stock. Also not all themes are available at all times, and if this is the case it may take a little longer to complete your order. If cost is the consideration, just let us know how much you want to spend, whether it is for a boy or a girl or unisex, and we can create a cake just for you.

What size and type of diapers do you use?
We use Pampers disposable diapers, size 1-3 (depending on the product and availability), which fits 7-18 pounds. If a larger or smaller diaper size is needed, please let us know when ordering. Additional charges may apply.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept PayPal using a secure server. You do not need to be a member of PayPal to pay by credit card and signing up is not required! We will also accept Money Orders & Cashier's Checks, but this will also cause a longer processing time, as we will ship your purchase only after the payment has cleared.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
Ontario residents must pay 8% P.S.T.

All items will be shipped through Canada Post Parcel service. Free delivery may be available for local customers (Woodstock, Ontario or Brantford, Ontario and surrounding areas). If you live locally, you may be eligible for 5% off on pick-up orders. Shortly after your order and payment have been received, you will be sent an email to confirm your order and a Paypal invoice for shipping costs, as well as any upgrade or alteration charges (if applicable). Once your order has been confirmed, please allow 3-5 days for your order to be made (some products may take longer, this will be stated on product information page). Shipping time will depend on your location and the method of shipping you choose, but your order will usually arrive within 3-5 business days of shipment in Canada and up to 14 business days in the U.S. You will receive an email to confirm shipment. There will be an extra fee for any express shipping order; these costs will be included in your shipping invoice. Combined shipping may be possible for some products.

Will you ship directly to the gift recipient?
Yes (provided it is within North America [Alaska and Hawaii excluded]). All you have to do is supply us with the name and address, and the date the item is needed by, and we will do the rest. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to a P.O. Box and will not ship directly to hospitals due to the short length of stay.

Will you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, we cannot ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or outside of North America at this time. It is just too expensive, and we cannot guarantee the item will arrive in good condition. Sorry!

What is your return policy?
Our products are handmade from scratch for each customer. Returns or exchanges are only offered for orders that are defective. Defective is defined as an order that fell apart during shipping. In order to return or exchange a defective order, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt that your order arrived damaged and you wish to return or exchange it. A defective product must be returned to us within 5 business days of receipt, and must be in original condition. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE GRANTED FOR PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN UNWRAPPED, OPENED, RE-WRAPPED, OR OTHERWISE TAMPERED WITH. We reserve the right to deny refund or exchange on any product. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.

Can I cancel an order after it has been submitted?
You cannot cancel your submitted order through our website. Please send an email to abcgiftboutique@hotmail.com or call us @ (519)539-6067. Be sure to include your name and customer order number in the email or call. We will only be able to cancel it for you if it has not yet been “baked” or shipped.
